Want a Bathroom Remodel Like This?
Master Bathroom with Teak Accents
This project was a full renovation of our clients’ very dated and clunky master bathroom. They wanted to make the space feel light and airy with modern style. Functionally, they wanted to maximize comfort and storage. We solved the layout challenge by combining a generous shower stall and a soaking tub in one spacious wet room space. And it turned out to be one of the most stunning features. The frameless glass enclosure, textured Irish Venezia Bianco tile and window with privacy glass keep it light and bright. The teak floor anchors the shower with a beautiful material that gives it a spa-like feel. There’s plenty of space for a shower bench. Perhaps most importantly, we incorporated his-and-hers shower niches to make room for all of their shower products. We included recessed medicine cabinets and scads of cabinetry on the his-and-hers vanity. In addition to the vanity cabinets, we added a countertop cabinet to make sure they always had enough space. We incorporated drawers beneath the cabinets under the sink. Our clients find that this is a great spot for storing extra towels and is a much more efficient use of space than typical ready-made vanities provide. We also outfitted some of the cabinets with specialty pull-outs, including a trash pull-out and a handy scale pull-out at the bottom of one of the cabinets.
