1

INITIAL MEETING

  • Free in-home meeting to
    discuss client vision
  • “What will be renovated and why?”
  • Photos will be taken of potential project areas

Project Development Agreement Meeting

  • Free meeting to
    discuss project scope
  • Homeowner decides if Innovative Design Build is a good fit for their project. If so, Client pays fee to cover Phase One

buildertrend and measuring

  • Homeowner added to Buildertrend, an online forum used to communicate with the entire team
  • Matterport and measurements are taken at the Client’s home
  • As builts are drawn

Initial Design Meeting

  • High level project intake with the Design Team
  • Introductory inspiration photos shared with homeowners for feedback

Conceptual Presentation

  • Two conceptual plans, black and white 3D renderings, and updated inspiration photos presented
  • Ballpark given for each plan
  • Client agrees to pay and move to the Development Phase

Virtual Meeting to Finalize Plans

  • Phase one options are updated into one final plan
  • Virtual meeting to discuss design changes to the plans and review construction details
  • Drawings, renderings, and elevations are finalized

Selections and Permitting Begins

  • Selections presented at our showroom
  • Designer presents two selection options to the Client for each space
  • Engineer draws structural plans
  • Permit package created and sent for permitting approval

Trade Meeting

  • In-home meeting with trade partners (Electrician, plumber, painter, etc.)
  • Client’s chance to meet our team and ask questions

Construction Agreement

  • Fixed price agreement provided
  • Detailed scope of work and billing milestones
  • Start date and projected timeline
  • Contract signed and deposit paid to lock in start date

Preconstruction Meeting

  • Introduction to your Project Manager and carpentry team
  • Client and production staff discuss logistics
  • Pet and job safety, site prep, and storage locations discussed
  • Client questions and concerns are addressed
  • Live calendar of construction schedule is released

Construction

  • First day site prep of construction area to minimize dust
  • Demo begins
  • Jobsite is cleaned daily
  • Weekly walkthroughs with your Project Manager

Completion & Warranty

  • Any issues identified are
    addressed and corrected
    before completion
  • Final payment requested
  • 60-day and 1-year warranty
    visits scheduled to address
    any warranty issues
  • 3-year comprehensive
    warranty
